The main operating goal of POLFEX Ltd. is the production (slaughter, partition, packing, handpicking, storage) and distribution of poultry meat, carcasses and elements internationally.
POLFEX carefully chooses farmers to raise the hatchling that it provides to them, under constant veterinary supervision and cooperation in terms of growth.
Our overarching objective is to constantly strive for the best quality and safety in satisfying our customers needs and expectation.
We achieve this goal through:
- the introduction and maintaining of the HACCP system (Analysis of threats and critical control points) based one seven principles described in the: Codex Alimentarius CAC/RCP 1-1969, revision 4 – 2003;
- introduction and maintaining of the GMP/GHP rules (Good Manufacturing Practice/Good Higiene Practice),
- introduction and maintaining of the food safety management system in accordance with the norm PN-EN ISO 22000 :2006;
- introduction and maintaining of the International Food Standard (IFS);
- development and constant improvement of the quality management system based on the norm ISO 22000:2006 along with the expectations of the International Food Standard (IFS). The stages as well as products involved are specified in the document “Quality Control System Range”;
- improvement on every job position and systematic qualification raising through seminars and training systems allowing for development, increase of competence and awareness of the identified threats in the food chain;
- tracking of changes and careful fulfilling of food safety regulations;
- caring for the natural environment;
- investments improving the infrastructure as well as quality and safety of the manufactured products.
Our food safety policy is popularized and well known among the employees and is reviewed regularly and updated. The management team is responsible for fulfilling the food safety policy.
